Peel Police are investigating a residential break and enter which led to the theft of firearms and ammunition.On Friday, February 10, 2017, 11 Division Officers responded to a Break and Enter in the area of Rio Court, near Erin Centre Boulevard and Plantation Place, in Mississauga.

Investigation revealed that between the early morning and late afternoon hours of Friday, February 10, 2017, unknown culprits gained entry to a residence and forced open a gun locker that was secured inside.

A total of ten firearms were stolen, including six rifles, two handguns and two shot-guns, along with six hundred and seventy-five rounds of ammunition. In addition to the theft of firearms and ammunition, there were two air-rifles and an additional two thousand dollars in property removed from the home.
